How long ago was your yoga anatomy training? Research into the science of yoga is moving fast and as a teacher you need to be able to separate fact from fiction (and help your students do the same). Join Dr. Mary Ellen Yasay as she helps you become a better, more effective teacher through better understanding of the latest yoga anatomy & physiology research. 

Mary Ellen will be with us Feb 24 - Mar 1, 2020 with two sessions - choose one or both! Teachers can register for sessions as Continuing Education or combine them with our other Advanced YTT modules towards their 500-hour certification.

First session (Feb 24-28) topics include: Anatomy & Physiology of the Spine, Joint Compression Lecture, Biomechanics of Asana and Functional Range Workshop, Deeper understanding of Hips and Knees, Everything Myofascial, Sports Injuries & YogaMyth busting with the latest research! 🤓 

Second session (Feb 28-Mar 1) is dedicated to learning the art of Thai Yoga Stretch! This is a fabulous tool you can use with private clients and in workshops to attend to tight muscles in an entirely new way. This session will deepen your assist game and make you a highly sought-after teacher! Along with Thai Yoga Stretch, topics in session two include Neurology & Yoga, Anatomy & Physiology of Meditation and Respiration and Myth Busting in the world of yoga, fitness, nutrition and supplements.
