dWIpADA Yoga Studio Classes

DwiPada Yoga Studio Schedule

Ashtanga Vinyasa - The original vinyasa system! You’ll create heat in the body with this set series of Sun Salutations, standing & seated postures, backbends and inversions. A true full body workout – inside and out. This class is offered in Short Form (60 min), Full Primary Series (90 min), and Mysore formats (student can come and go within the open practice time).

Budokon Yoga - Budokon Yoga is a modern yoga style which unites the ancient tradition of self inquiry with modern mixed movement. Budokon Yoga was codified and popularized by Cameron Shayne beginning in 2001. Synchronizing classical yoga with martial arts, calisthenics, animal locomotion and life science, the purpose of this class is to gain muscular strength, cardiovascular stamina, and joint mobility. All levels welcome.

901 Community Class Benefiting MICR - Join us every Friday night to get your weekend off to a great start for a great cause! A portion of your $9.01 class fee will support Memphis Inner City Rugby (MICR), an organization that is #changingthegame in Memphis. MICR is on a mission to expand athletic and academic opportunity in low-income neighborhoods across Memphis. Started by teachers and driven by coaches, MICR exists to leverage the power of rugby for social change. Teachers will rotate for this class.

Mysore Ashtanga Open Studio - "Like a private lesson in a group setting." In contrast to "led" Ashtanga Vinyasa classes, Mysore-style Ashtanga allows the student to explore their practice at their own pace in a group setting. In Mysore practice, students may arrive, practice and leave at any time during class times posted - from 30 minutes of practice to an hour, or longer. The teacher assists each student individually as they move through their personal practice. Experience with the Ashtanga Full Primary series is helpful, but not required.

Power Vinyasa – Challenge, strength & stretch - you’ll find it all in this practice! We link the the postures with breath and music to create a sense of flow and mindfulness in motion. Be prepared to sweat!
