DwiPada is a Sanskrit phrase that means “The Two Pillars”. We teach two of the strongest, most physically demanding practices in the yoga world: Ashtanga Vinyasa and Vinyasa Flow Yoga.

When you practice yoga with a DwiPada teacher, you will be challenged and pushed to your edge of possibility. It is through this challenge that we grow and achieve our full potential in physical strength as well as mental and emotional stability. Yoga is the science of YOU. We practice yoga as a form of self-study, always seeking to reveal and bring out the best that is already within each of us.

Yoga Etiquette

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in and set up your space in the yoga studio. We begin and end class promptly at the class times posted.

No late entry or early departure is allowed in the studio. We begin and finish practice together as a tribe. Coming and going from the studio during class is a distraction from the work and disrespectful to your fellow students. If you arrive late and the doors are locked, you will not be allowed entry into the studio.

Be prepared to work and sweat! The yoga room is ideal between 75-80 degrees. You will need to bring a sticky yoga mat, water and hand towel. Ladies usually practice in fitted yoga tanks and pants. Men may practice in exercise shorts, with or without a shirt. Wear clothing that won’t get bunchy or fall over your head in a forward fold. Wicking materials are a good choice.

Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. Please allow at least one hour after a light meal, two hours after a heavy meal, so that you can feel comfortable during practice. Be sure to hydrate well after practice!

Please leave personal belongings, shoes, cell phones (silent or off please), etc. in the cubbies so they are not distractions in our practice space.
