Tradition Meets Intuition: Therapeutic Benefits of Ashtanga Vinyasa

300 Hour Teacher Training with Greg Tebb

August 16, 2019 – March 27, 2020

Teach at the next level with intuition & mastery

What do you need to move further along your road as a yoga teacher? Teaching beyond Short Form Ashtanga? Check. A greater understanding of anatomy and teaching to special populations? Check. Honing in on your unique gifts for teaching? Check. If you are ready to take your teaching to the next level, this training will push you further into your edge of possibility as a practitioner and leader in your yoga community. You’ll become a more intuitive teacher and develop depth to use in workshops and with private clients. Instead of wishing for stronger teachers in our area, let’s become them! We are stronger together.

MEET YOUR MASTER TEACHER: GREGORY TEBB, E-RYT®500

Greg discovered Ashtanga yoga at the age of 16 in Australia and has since studied exclusively with the Jois family, first with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in India and New York, followed by over 17 years (and counting) with Pattabhi’s son Manju Jois, his teacher and mentor. Greg often serves as a teaching assistant in Manju's workshops and has Manju Jois' blessing to teach into the Advanced Series of Ashtanga yoga. He has co-authored two training manuals with Manju Jois: Ashtanga Yoga: Yoga Chikitsa & Nadi Shodhana and Yogasana Chikitsa Bhaga: Yoga Therapy.

“DwiPada Yoga School is everything a yoga teacher training should be. It is, quite frankly, the best thing I’ve ever done. As a student, I felt motivated to go above and beyond what was asked of me, because I saw my teachers going above and beyond to make us the best yoga teachers we can be. The teachers put their hearts and souls into making this program educational, experiential, inspiring, and fun. They fostered a sense of community that I would not have imagined possible in a group of nearly a dozen strangers prior to the training. Their caring for us as individuals inspired us to care for each other. The 2-pillar format is ingenious, as it gave students a solid base in the Ashtanga primary series to apply to our vinyasa classes. Upon graduating, I had already been hired by a studio to teach both Ashtanga short form and vinyasa yoga, and it was thanks to the excellent preparation by my teachers that I was successful in my audition and now am getting repeat students and good feedback from my classes. I would enthusiastically recommend this training to anyone looking to teach yoga and make a career out of it.”
